General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will drive Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) down a dangerous road.
Anna is clearly dealing with some visions of Peter that will continue to influence her life and view of the world.
Summer preview spoilers indicate that Anna will have to keep putting on a show when it comes to her loved ones.
Anna doesn’t want those closest to her to know just how bad her mental health crisis still is.
Anna convinced Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and her doctor that she’s ready to be released, but she isn’t really prepared for that next step.
Since Anna is staying tight-lipped about hallucinating Peter, she’s leaving out a crucial detail about her recovery or lack thereof.
Summer preview info also indicates that “Peter” is going to put a damper on any happiness that Anna might find back in Port Charles.
It’s easy to imagine “Peter” crashing Anna’s welcome home party – at least in her own mind.
Anna may struggle to pretend “Peter” isn’t standing there in the corner with persistent instructions about her next moves.
“Peter” will make sure Anna doesn’t trust those around her, including the people who adore Anna and have been so eager to have her back in town.
As for Anna’s plan once she returns to Port Charles, GH spoilers say she’ll have a fatal agenda.
“Peter” may be the one delivering grim orders, so he may lead Anna down a path of death and destruction.
Of course, there’s at least one person who might pick up on the fact that something’s off.
Anna has a reunion with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) coming up, so he may sense that his former flame isn’t telling the whole story.
Valentin may question Anna and wonder if she’s sure she’s OK following her time in captivity.
Anna will no doubt get the scoop from Valentin about Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) role in her imprisonment and gaslighting.
Even so, that won’t be enough to make these troubling visions of Peter disappear.
“Peter” will keep haunting Anna and may put her on a truly alarming road.
