😱🚨 Just In: Replacement actress lined up, GH to drop Kirsten Storms when no value!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that fans are eager to see what the future holds for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) now that Cassius Faison aka fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) has made his official departure.

Summer preview spoilers hint that Maxie’s replacement is coming up, but it may not happen in the way some viewers might expect.

Plenty of GH watchers would’ve liked to have seen Maxie’s reaction to all the Cassius revelations.

That’s especially true since James West (Gary James Fuller) has become so close to fake Nathan in the short time they had together.

However, we all understand that Kirsten Storms’ personal matters take precedence over the show.

On social media, Storms recently indicated that she doesn’t feel comfortable returning to work in Los Angeles, so what will the writers do about that moving forward?

The ABC soap already offered up a temporary solution by sending Maxie, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) and Bailey Louise Jones (Miley and Riley Plonski) on a summer trip together.

James stayed behind for his little league baseball games and because he didn’t want to miss out on time with his “dad,” which is even more heartbreaking now that he’ll be facing such sad info about “Nathan.”

It looks like Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) may be the one who breaks a double dose of bad news to James, who’ll presumably learn “Nathan” was actually his uncle, Cassius, and that he “died” – at least based on the fake story the WSB offered.

Thanks to Cody, Maxie won’t have to be around for that task either, so there’s a good chance she’ll eventually decide to seek a fresh start somewhere else.

Maxie, Spinelli and their family may settle down in a new city, especially if Maxie scores a job elsewhere.

As for James, he can still pop up for regular appearances when he visits his grandparents in Port Charles.

James might even want to live with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) if Maxie gets on board with the idea.

Regardless, summer preview spoilers also point to a replacement of sorts for Maxie at Deception.

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is making big power plays at the company, so it appears she’ll be responsible for bringing Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) into the picture.

You can bet Lucy will view Serena as someone who’ll be on her side in all the Deception drama that’s brewing.

It seems likely that Serena will essentially replace Maxie in this storyline after Maxie resigns and perhaps signs over her shares.

Bottom line, Maxie isn’t really essential to anything happening in Port Charles at this point.

The show probably opted to recast Serena instead of Maxie and have her slide into the Deception chaos so that Maxie (and Kirsten Storms) can remain off-screen.

It’s just a matter of giving Maxie a more permanent excuse to stay out of town.

That’d be easy enough through a career shift and the desire for a new beginning somewhere else.
